Well the 2009 race season at Speedway 660 is well underway. There have been three events completed and one rained out. We are having a pretty good start to the season so far. We have been pretty consistent having a 3rd, 5th & 6th place finish which is good enough for the points lead, but man it has been hard on equipment!  We have had three transmission and two rear end failures. Thanks to a great crew we have been able to get repaired and make the show every time.  Also, a big thanks goes out the Wildman Wade Harris and his team for lending us a spare tranny for a race.

If the weather cooperates we hope to get some testing in this week and be ready to go for Saturday or Sunday, if it rains.  It should be another great event for you fans with the tour in town and sure to be some great racing in the regular classes.  There have been 20 to 25 Sportsman cars showing up every week which makes for some exciting racing in this very highly competitive division.  So bring the whole family along and I hope to see you at the track!

Guess What! Yes another rain out. The track decided, based on the weather forecast, to cancel the entire weekend so we thought we would give Shediac a try on Sunday for their Maritime Sportsman 100.  This would be our first time at this track so there was a little extra excitement among the team as we headed down the highway. The weather was great in Shediac. As a matter of fact it was real hot!  We were able to get the car going pretty good in practice and we were having a great run in the heat race until the two leaders got together in front of us and we got caught up in the ensuing wreck.
We were able to get the car back together for the feature and ended up with a 9th place finish. All in all it was a good day! We will be back in the fall to give it another try!  Congrats to Glyn Nott and his crew for winning the feature and a big thanks to Brian Fox who jumped right in and helped us get our car back together!
